If you’ve looked around our vacation rentals website much you’ve probably noticed that Jean and I enjoy outdoor vacations a lot more than visiting amusement parks. Not to say we’ll never visit an amusement park again, but we do ten to like vacations where the main focus is being outdoors in a more natural setting that say Disney World.

With that said, if you haven’t been visiting our nation’s National Parks you’re missing our on an incredible adventure. I have had the privilege to visit 18 of the national parks in the United States and you can’t imagine the natural beauty unique to each park if you haven’t had the chance to visit yourself. Pictures do capture some of magnificence of many of our parks, but actually getting to visit them lets you experience them like nothing else.

Some of my favorite parks are Crater Lake in Oregon, Acadia National Park in Maine, The Great Smoky Mountains National Park In Tennessee, Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, but by far my favorite national park is Grand Canyon. It truly is like nothing you have ever experienced. To stand on the rim of a 15 mile wide, 5,000 foot deep hole in the Earth has to be experienced.

For more info visit the National Park Vacation page of our main website where we review the top 10 parks in the United States. Add them to your vacation destinations soon because you don’t want to miss out on the great outdoors and the raw beauty this country has to offer.
