Seagrove Beach Vacation RentalWe love the beaches of Highway 30A in the Florida panhandle and we have vacationed there twice so, one of the new features I’ll be writing about on this blog is vacation rentals we find as we look through what’s available in the area. The first one up is called Dill Pickle and it is centrally located in Seagrove Beach right within walking distance of the white sandy beaches that make this area so popular.

Dill Pickle is a 3 bedroom 4 bathroom home that comprises 2,400 square feet of pure luxury from its granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen to its three levels that give you a great view of the surrounding beach communities to its luxurious furnishings throughout the home. And if you can’t get enough entertainment, the home also comes with 4 TVs, DVD players and wireless internet access if you must be online while you are on vacation. You also get access to the community pool.

One of the things Jean and I like about staying in a home this large when we go on vacation is that we can invite friends or family to come and stay with us and everyone will have plenty of room. It’s always nice to rent a home for vacation and get a place that has at least one more bedroom than you need so you can store extra stuff in it that won’t be in your way, such as bikes, while you are moving around the home. Price is also a reason we rent a home or condo when staying some place for a week or so. You simply can’t beat the price and if you tried to stay in 2 or 3 hotel rooms or a large enough suite to equal the size of a 2,400 square foot home, it would cost you a fortune.

The location of Dill Pickle vacation rental in Seagrove Beach is very convenient to all of the beach communities situated along Highway 30A in Ft Walton county. You are just a couple of minutes from the shops and restaurants of Seacrest Beach and Rosemary Beach to the east of Dill Pickle and to the west along 30A are more shops and some great restaurants in Seaside and Watercolor. My favorite restaurant by the way is Bud & Alley’s Taco Bar in Seaside. Don’t miss it.

The particulars of Dill Pickle are that it rents for between $148 and $355 per night or a weekly rate of between $1,035 and $2,484 depending on season. That’s quite a swing in price so you want to plan your vacation accordingly. Our little secret is that we love to vacation some time between the beginning of September and the end of October when all the crowds are nearly gone. On our last trip to Santa Rosa Beach we rented a 4 bedroom condo in a 4 floor building and we had the entire building to ourselves. The fall really is the best time to go and the rates are more than reasonable this time of year.
