Smoky Mountain Cabin Rentals Activities

Of course there is always the Great Smoky Mountain National Park I mentioned earlier. You will never run out of things to do in this most visited of all the National Parks.

Cades Cove is the biggest attraction in the Smokies and it is visited by more than 2 million people a year. You don't want to miss it!

If you are into hiking, there are 850 miles of hiking trails in the park with some incredible mountain vistas to behold. Our favorite hike is the 4 mile loop to Chimney Tops. You can find out more about hiking in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park by visiting our hiking vacation page.

Then there is the fun city of Gatlinburg that is the host city to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Spend the day in the Smoky mountains and then spend your evenings strolling through the shops of Gatlinburg.

The Village is a great place to shop. We like The Village shops because they are a bit different than the usual touristy shops in downtown Gatlinburg with their upscale merchandise, food and great coffee.

If you like arts and crafts the Artist's Community is just outside of Gatlinburg. The 8 mile loop around the community features shops, artist's studios, galleries, cafes and some unique accommodations.

You can spend all day in this one little section of Gatlinburg just browsing through the shops. Spend all day browsing if you like, just make sure that by the end of the day you have visited Paul Murray's Gallery. If you miss Paul Murray's gallery on your vacation, you've missed what Tennessee is all about.

He has an incredibly unique perspective on life in the very rural, and disappearing, mountains of Tennessee.

If you want to see some of these great attractions in and around the Smoky Mountain National Park and Gatlinburg TN or just want to relax in a cabin in the mountains you will need a place to stay. We recommend the service below to find your Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental.
